How to light a Protector SL Workmans Lamp

I did it!! At last. Using two 2 volt 25 Ah lead battery's :)
Now I just need to find a filament that can do more than 3 ignitions....

Eccles Railway Station & Patricroft Railway Station were mentioned on Protectors letterhead from around 1890 and we had our own sidings onto the mainline where lamps and fuel could be sent straight to the coal mines. Good luck to Freccles and FrOPS promoting the continued use of these Stations
